Funny thing happened a moment ago, I typed several things to correct some of the above mentioned to find I have been banned. Uh-Oh, not again. Yesterday I saw something on twitter about http://talkingpointsmemo.com/about.php so I went to investigate, thinking it was Bill O’Reilly related then I saw the truth, another Obama Propaganda site that was still blaming George Bush for 9/11, un-employment, the economy and the typical left winged spin of misinformation. I left several comments correcting some of the lies that were written there that started the usual firestorm of insults and more lies from the left as we are all used to by now.

This morning I saw a new story about Rick Santorum’s recent comments about Obama’s Phony Theology, again they blamed Bush for 9/11, un-employment, and the economy so I did a little googling for “Black Liberation Theology” and posted the following reply that disappeared within minutes after posting. I hate seeing good research go to waste.

If you’re going to spend twenty-two years of your life with racists in a church, don’t cry about it and lie when someone brings it up, after all you ARE the President now. The influence of the black liberation theology of James H. Cone appears in the political philosophy of Barack Obama as well as in the  controversial statement about national pride made by Michelle Obama after saying “For the first time in my adult life I’m proud of my country”.

Lets examine this “Phony Philosophy” Rick Santorum mentioned.  Cone’s book was singled out as required reading for Trinity parishioners who wished to more thoroughly understand the church’s theology and mission. James Cone, the pioneer of black liberation theology, is a much-admired figure at Trinity. He writes – “The time has come for white America to be silent and listen to black people. . . . All white men are responsible for white oppression. . . . Theologically, Malcolm X was not far wrong when he called the white man ‘the devil.’. . . Any advice from whites to blacks on how to deal with white oppression is automatically under suspicion as a clever device to further enslavement.” In a 2004 essay he wrote, “Black suffering is getting worse, not better. . . . White supremacy is so clever and evasive that we can hardly name it. It claims not to exist, even though black people are dying daily from its poison” an October 2006 lecture at Harvard Theological Seminary entitled “Strange Fruit: The Cross and the Lynching Tree.”  Cone’s stated goal is to “make sense of the Christian Gospel in the face of the horrific suffering of Black people in the U.S.”  To do that he links the cross with the lynching tree — for him, they interpret each other. “There is, then, a desperate need for a black theology, a theology whose sole purpose is to apply the freeing power of the gospel to black people under white oppression.”

Since Barak Hussein Obama’s election the MainStream Media has focused on the religious beliefs of Mike Huckabee, Mitt Romney and now Rick Santorum. What was Barak Hussein Obama’s reply again, I never really listened or payed much attention in twenty-two years? Do your own research, google “Black Liberation Theology” When Glenn beck called Barak Hussein Obama a “Racist” was he off?

Next article I saw at TPM was about Governor Walker and his ongoing battle with the unions where again I saw them blaming Bush for 9/11 and the rest of the world problems si I did a little more research and left the following that also disappeared within minutes of posting it.

In November 2006, unemployment rates for all major worker groups—adult men (3.9 percent), adult women (4.0 percent), teenagers (15.1 percent), whites (3.9 percent), blacks (8.6 percent), and Hispanics (4.9 percent)—showed little or no change over the month.

To these facts I added Then came Pelosi to take over the House after George Soros spent 25 million dollars to defeat Pres. Bush.

Next I added my personal experience about Unions and what I witnessed after 1970. It too disappeared right after I posted it.

I graduated High School 1970 and immediately joined the union as an apprentice carpenter. I completed four years of night school, two nights a week, two hours a night while working as an apprentice. They taught us everything from survey to turn-key including Trim and Cabinetry. Union Carpenters WERE the Go To Guys on the jobs, we could handle and solve any problems that came up. We WERE trained to study a set of plans before starting the job and take all the trades into consideration to make the job perform with Speed Ease and Accuracy. We had homework and weekly tests it was very difficult to complete, the apprenticeship program ended shortly after we finished.

WHY? Because 1975 was a large-scale Detroit Auto Workers lay off, the South Florida Carpenters Union couldn’t keep up with demands so they invited auto workers and sold them a journeyman’s Carpenter Card for $350.00 each then told them to come to OUR class to “Freshen Up” a couple nights. Lilly White Pale Skinned Men from Michigan that never drove a nail, labored in the hot South Florida sunlight or cut a board in their life were now Journeymen Carpenters and expected us properly schooled and trained Apprentices to “Show Them The Ropes”.

Ahh the memories, stumbling and fumbling about like fish out of water, sucking down salt tablets and ice water like it was the last drop, fainting before 10:am, sun-burnt and blistered with tape and bandages protecting their hands from hard labor. I remember lines at the portolets as they waited to hide from the blistering sunlight on some jobs, imagine trading fresh air for the stench of a portolet fermenting in the hot sunlight? Our New Brothers? ………

We WERE trained to kick ass and have fun at work, it made the days fly by, you didn’t DARE be seen carrying three or four 2×4′s, you wrapped your arms around many as you could and hauled ass with them, you didn’t dare ask for help carrying a sheet of plywood, you picked it up and ran with it. Our job performance was rewarded and graded at Apprentice School based on input by our Union Job Stewart’s, promotions and positions were earned, not given to anyone.  All of a sudden that was too hard, expectations and quality was reduced to make it fair for the Auto Workers who didn’t have a clue what time it was, a kind of like communism atmosphere contaminated the job-site’s. Production and quality went to hell and all the local Unions vanished well before 1980 because of it. Lumber yards, cement company’s, truck drivers, all the tradesmen were union, all construction jobs here were union except some of the residential contractors but most of the subs were union.

Many from my class graduated and went on to build custom homes and became contractors where we could use our talents as any one of us were able to get a set of plans, lay out a building with strings, stakes, sledgehammers, shovels and take it through completion.

As the decades pass I still laugh my ass off every time I hear someone say “Like they do it up north”…….
