Ex-terror backer has not been visited by a U.S. secretary of state since 1953, WASHINGTON — Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice plans to visit Libya this week, part of a dramatic turnaround in U.S. relations with a former pariah nation that no American secretary of state has visited in more than half a century.
Rice begins a four-nation tour of North Africa in Tripoli on Friday, meeting with Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi and other top officials in what the State Department is calling a landmark trip that will symbolize the opening of a new era in ties between the United States and the oil-rich country.

What happened? All of a sudden obama declares Gadhafi a “Terrorist” again then gets him killed a few months after the Condi Rice visit. Enter George Soros and Jeff Immelt, the two that selected and elected obama. The invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan showed the West that wars in which their own citizens get killed are not popular; AFRICOM is designed to ensure that in the coming colonial wars against Africa, it will be Africans who do the fighting and dying, not Westerners. The forces of the African Union are to become integrated into AFRICOM under a US-led chain of command. Gaddafi would never have stood for it; that is why he had to go.

Since the fall of Libya “OUR” focus has been on Syria, many times Hillary Clinton and the obama administration Media has claimed to be fully supporting and training the rebels there as they did in Libya and every other country that was our friend just five years ago now. Then it happened on 9/11/2012, we got attacked, killed, murdered, nothing was done. We were lied to and manipulated, the media did everything possible to avoid discussing it. During a Senate Hearing recently all of a sudden Hillary Clinton claimed that she did not know whether the U.S. mission in Libya was procuring or transferring weapons to Turkey and other Arab countries.

Days after the Benghazi attack, WND broke the story that Ambassador Stevens himself played a central role in recruiting jihadists to fight Assad’s regime in Syria, according to Egyptian and other Middle Eastern security officials.
Stevens served as a key contact with the Saudis to coordinate the recruitment by Saudi Arabia of Islamic fighters from North Africa and Libya. The jihadists were sent to Syria via Turkey to attack Assad’s forces, said the security officials.
The officials said Stevens also worked with the Saudis to send names of potential jihadi recruits to U.S. security organizations for review. Names found to be directly involved in previous attacks against the U.S., including in Iraq and Afghanistan, were ultimately not recruited by the Saudis to fight in Syria, said the officials.
The latest New York Times report has bolstered WND’s reporting, citing air traffic data, interviews with officials in several countries and the accounts of rebel commanders describing how the CIA has been working with Arab governments and Turkey to sharply increase arms shipments to Syrian rebels in recent months.
